In the heart of Nice’s old town, a former XVII century convent has been transformed into a hotel.

Hidden from view, the Hôtel du Couvent houses several living spaces: a restaurant in the cloister, a guinguette nestled in the gardens, a lively neighborhood bistro, Roman baths and a movement studio. From streamlined cells to spacious suites with terraces or private gardens. All offer soothing views of the garden, the rooftops of the old town, or the horizon.

The hotel is easily reached by cab from the Piazza Garibaldi station.

At the Hôtel du Couvent, cooking is an age-old ritual, inherited from the history of the place. The tradition continues in the Restaurant du Couvent, the Guinguette du Jardin and the Bistrot des Serruriers. Local and seasonal products, masterful cooking, lively wines. Fruit, vegetables and eggs from the hotel’s farm, bread baked on site in the bakery oven, herbs from the garden, preserves made at the convent.
