Inaugurated in April 2025 during the United Nations Ocean Conference, OcéaNice stands as a landmark venue at the Port of Nice and a driving force for business and cultural tourism on the French Riviera.
Built in record time by GL Events, the center spans 10,600 m² and comprises three main structures: Nicéa, a large 4,000 m² hall with seating for 2,500 people, suitable for conferences, exhibitions, seminars, shows, and galas; a 1,200 m² building housing meeting and breakout rooms across two levels; and a new maritime terminal designed to welcome high-end cruise ships.
The rooftops of the latter two buildings form a 1,400 m² panoramic terrace that can host up to 800 guests, offering a 360° view over the sea, the port, and the surrounding hills. A 4,000 m² esplanade completes the complex, providing an open-air space for large outdoor events.
Designed with sustainability in mind, OcéaNice incorporates 94% recyclable materials and prefabricated elements made in France, minimizing its environmental impact.
This new venue positions Nice as a key destination for the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) sector in Southern Europe. Nearly 70 events are already scheduled starting in September 2025, and the site will serve as the media center for the 2030 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Open to everyone, OcéaNice is also a vibrant cultural hub for the people of Nice, hosting concerts, exhibitions, and artistic events throughout the year.
